Straightening Perm

Also called the Korean Magic Straightening, Rebonding and Japanese perm, this thermal process targets to transforming the hair from being frizzy and curly to being straight. 

At the end of the process, the hair will feel softer and look shinier than ever before. The best part is that the hair stays straight through heat, humidity and perspiration! 

At our salon, we use our specialized SPASYS, ZENCARE and REPIT products and straighteners to achieve great results. The hair is processed by applying a number of treatments and solutions depending on the hair length, texture and condition. After it's been rinsed, the next step is to straighten the hair with special perm irons to bond or trap the previously added treatments. The final step is to neutralize the hair to lock the texture so the end results are a beautiful straight and sleek hair. 

The process takes approximately 2~4 hours, depending on the hair length, texture and condition.

The straightening perm lasts between 6-12 months depending on the products used for aftercare (i.e. good shampoo, conditioner, treatment...etc.), as well as other factors such as lifestyle, use of medications, pregnancy, current or ongoing diseases/illnesses, and genetics...etc. 

The hair will stay straight and shiny as long as it's being taken care of, but any new growth in the roots will be in the original texture of the hair and that will require us to do a touch-up or redo the whole process.
